Alexander Wolfe is a producer, director, cinematographer and editor of both fiction and documentary works. His documentaries Santo Domingo Blues, Semitostado and El Boss have won prizes internationally and been broadcast on television in the Unites States and abroad. Wolfe is also an award winning television producer and has produced episodes of Anthony Bourdain No Reservations , Vice Does America, The Last Shot, The First 48, and many other programs. In the aftermath of Hurricane Maria he worked with the community organization Casa Pueblo of Adjuntas to design, program and operate the Cine Solar, the only solar powered cinema in Puerto Rico, where he presented over forty films. Wolfe has also worked extensively as a sound engineer and designer, recording the audio for feature films such as Maria Full of Grace, Black Sabbath: The Last Supper, and The Substitute (II). He has taught Sound Design at the City University of New York and Narrative Sound at New York University.
